How to make the wuiii?

Questions about producing? Ask them here.
I'm sure it's been asked before, but instead of "it's done with VSts like Massive", I was hoping for a technical explanation (phase modulation + filter sweep etc.). How do you make a wuii sound with a synth, like the one at 0:59 in this song's drop https://soundcloud.com/ckrownofficial/c ... e-download
Anyone? God Bless and good day
He said he used a sample and "detuned saw waves pitch high and automated to get pitched down !"
? @ :59 there is what i would call '80 disco pitch snares'
Is that the wuii you talk about, is it the one first at 0:54. ?

No, it isn't that simple, he's describing how to make a "lazer"

No, the uirw, wuii, vowelish growl thing, that happens sporadically throughout the drop. It also occurs at 1:12.

From 1:12 secs and ends where? :)
Enclose it for us, because alot of the sounds there, sound very growlishly close.

Use this example below, to understand what I'm speaking about.
eg. starts from 1:10 secs and ends at 1:15 secs.

In your case, the sound starts from 1:12 secs and ends at____secs?
Fill in the blank space above.
That way. it'll be easier to pinpoint, the sounds exact location, where it starts and where it ends. :)

Exactly there is a FM Vovel growl.
FM synthesis is not easy, but zasfx can do it, but you need to 'wake it up' inside the zasfx-UI, but then the lmms-ui actually has a neat handle to it. I showed this a while ago here:

Beside that Brandy is right. Remember to make precise pointers :)

(i bet the FM growl isent your growl either.....

Well... I don't provide an encapsulated time frame because the wuii is only like a second long...

Then its the FM synthesis thing. Those are difficult :p
