Audio-Sample: BPM Synchronizing

Questions about producing? Ask them here.
Hi musicians!
Working with audio equip such as Ardour for years - based on recording and
audio-sampling - I'm happy to try out great LMMS. Creating and managing
"synth"-sounds and arranging them together with short audio-sample-parts
works fine and is fun! ;)
Here's my question:
will I be able to insert a larger audio-sample (about 4 - 6 seconds)
as a theme and after that synchronize ("time-stretch") it to fit with
the BPM of already created other project-components?
Definitely this would be my bridge for working with both Ardour + LMMS!
Thanx lot for building it!

Not as such, in lmms. What lmms users has to do, is to use a middle-layer-sofware that has this feature. Most uses Audacity, because its good, and also free :)

Lmms has a neat 'reversed sample feature', and can work as a loop-maker like Acid-studio : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cCTaCs_8j2M
But thats completely different from what you asked :p
Thanx, musikbear!
So I have to go the oldfashioned other way by exporting my LMMS-track
and then synchronize my new sample in Ardour or Audacity with it before
inserting it in LMMS. That's o.k., just wanna know if there's a
feature instead.
