Wooah! I like the kick in 100th monkey Spiritus. :D
Lmms' Kicker plugin, can make kick sounds, close to either of them, especially the kick sound
heard in the 100th monkey Spiritus track. You can even make your own kick sound, with it too.

Note, you could also use the kick drum samples, included in lmms too.
The sample called Kick hard is like the best one. :)

There is so much to say on that. :D
My suggestion, is to play around with the Kicker plugin, and turn dials etc. and discover
the amount of control you'll have, over how the kick should sound. :)

As brandy says, 'Kicker' is almost default like those
You can read more about Kicker in the wiki, but do listen to the collection of kick samples in 'MySamples'

Several topics on this board address this. Perhaps this one

is interesting for you

For learning lmms, i recommend the wiki, and Perhaps my rookie-guide can interest you? Link in signature.

Thanks to everyone for the replies. I just have the problem, i try to get the kick becoming more clear and that the kick doesn't sounds too dull. I try to play around with an equalizer and compression so far.

Yep. That's how we all start off. :D
Is it possible for you to post a 5 second audio snippet, of the drum sound you made?
If we hear it, we might be able to tell you how to make it clearer. :)
If you use VSTs I suggest downloading the free "Kicklab". It's kicks are amazing, and you can even tell it to leave a subby sound behind, which will make your music sound much better!

They also have a decent clap plugin called "Claplab".

Hello again. :)
I just made a kick sound tut, using the plugin called kicker.
Normally, I don't usually make tuts, making these type of almost simple sounds.
But then again, I said to myself, why not. :)

And hopefully, it sounds clear enough too.
Feel free to check it out, whenever you have time. :)
