Radiohead, Autechre, Aphex Twin, Bjork, They Might Be Giants, etc.

Lately, I've been getting more into Venetian Snares.
Nice bunch.

In my style of music, I've got quite a few inspirations:

There's Timecop1983: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNwX1UbVUnU

HOME: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GW6sLrK40k&t=101s

Miami Nights 1984: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLzjm9E1hwg

Vangelis: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3fz6CC45ok

And a lot more than that!

actually i dunt have any specific inspirations. when i was little, i was watching my 12-year old brother producing orchestral music in Finale. i wasnt supposed to go producing music tho, until that scene reminded me i could still be like him.

when i went into the world of mainstream edm and in newgrounds, i got inspired from several tracks of artists that pursued me to make music. especially, Reasoner, one of my most favorite producers of all time! my most favorite song from him is "A Walk Down the Trail"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5Ih_Bvnjpc
this song is damn beautiful! first 4 measures and already hooked. it got me the idea to make ambient and new age music -- welp the pad synth ambient sounds from the 1k presets from ZynAddSubFX helped me to reach my dream to make music like reasoner's

Faux Tales, Aeris, Animadrop, Ben Walter, Xtrullor, and the old Phantom Sage
i haven't heard such dopestep music in a more melodic tune with a grandiose harmony. i had discovered melodic dubstep through them and made my own song in this genre :D

my favorite songs from them:
atlas - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KIeTywBC36M
sound of falling stars - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysoECksFNtk
hans zimmer interstellar theme remix - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pewWpJkeFGI
ichor - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBu1__I_2pY
crystal clouds - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRHk-DavCjc

eh, do ya know Skaven? ;) none of his songs in the bejeweled twist ost have specific title, but my most favorite one is the challenge mode music aaaaaa i am going to that mode just to listen to that AND I ALSO HAVE THE TRACKER FILE <3

I just find some deep house mixes from 90's and there is my inspiration. Not much needed :)
