Music as inspiration

Hello fellow writers! In terms of inspiration, do any of you listen to music while composing your thoughts? When I write rough drafts, I have music playing in the background constantly. I have always been more attracted to music over other media (movies, books, tv, paintings, etc) and was wondering if anyone felt the same? My favorite artists to play when writing are Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Nine Inch Nails, Portishead, and Deftones. I wouldn't say that I particularly sound like any of them composition wise based on their lyrics, but I have always connected with these artists and they put me into a certain mindset. In some ways, I guess you can say that they aided me in finding my voice as a writer (along with personal life experiences). Who do you listen to while writing?

To be honest, I have never practiced this, but I often hear about it,
probably I will soon try to start including what you have listed, maybe my progress will become more vivid

To be honest, I don't listen any music when I do music. I listen only occasional some music and that must be exceptional, greatest hist or huge hist, no mather the genre. I do mostly listen my songs and try to iterate in my mind and find new ways to express better my ideas.
