I find this somewhat amusing, but I'm also shaking my head here. Of course that project isn't his own, but I don't expect a kid like him to understand copyrights, song ownership, etc. Hope he will, someday.

It sounds very familiar.
The way he uses the mixer does indeed suggest he did not make this.

TO be honest, a guy (not Thomasso) posted "Axe From the 80s" on soundcloud.

That has nothing to do with this instance. The kid presented it with the impression that he made the beat himself. It's probably meant to fool his peers in a lighthearted way, but he could have received a strike from youtube, had this track been a well known commercial song for example.
