Oh....A camel llama LB302 sounding bass. :o
I made one, almost similar to this, a few days ago.
I'll make a tut and post it up either later, or soon. :D

Tutorial 22 (BASS Tutorial) Synth 1 vst.

80's sounding arpy bass. (Synth 1)

First off, we open Synth 1 into Lmms and we select a default Synth 1 soundbank.
Image

And like in all of the other synth 1 tuts, we take off and turn off, both LFO's etc.
In other words the numbers 1 and 2 and Tempo and Key button, must all be off,
or not lit up, like in the pic shown.
Image

Okay, now lets start.

-------------------------

1) In Osc 1, select the square symbol shape.
Image

Osc 2, select the Saw wave.
Image

----------------------------------

2) Turn the FM dial to 79.
Image

----------------------
3) Mix dial = Leave it at default 50/50. Just like in the pic below.
Image

---------------------------------

4) Now lets go to the Amplifier Section. :D
Image
A = 2

---------------------------------

5) Filter Section
Image
frq = 18
sat = 40

-----------------------------------

6) Vel = on
The green light means Vel is on. :D

----------------------------------

7) Select LP12 dudes. That's what we're using for this sound. :D
Image

----------------------------------

8) In the Tempo Delay Section
Image

Make sure the blue letters are on the letters ST

Now turn the Tempo Delays d/w dial.
d/w = 0

Okay, now make sure that:
Chorus/Flanger = On :)

----------------------------------

9) Now lets go to the Unison section.
Image

Press the Unison button, to turn it on. Green means it is on.
Image
A highlighted Green circle at the left, means, the Unison is on.

------------------------------------

10) Now lets go to the num section.
Do you see the blue number 2? Press the top dark grey square and change the number to 4.
Image

------------------------------------

11) Look for the Pitch dial, located in the Unison section.
Image
Leave the Pitch dial on 0.

-------------------------------------

12) Now lets head to the LFO section guys. :)
Image

Press the button with the number 1 on it, to turn it on. Yellow means it is on.
Next to the 1 button, you'll see a blue ramp wave, that looks like an upside down letter V. Leave it. Don't change it.

--------------------------------------

13) Now, in that same, LFO section, press both dark tempo and key buttons
to turn them both on. The Green circles above both buttons, mean, that both tempo and key are on.
Image

Now lets turn the dials.

spd - 8
amt - 100

-------------------------------------

14) Now, you'll see a brown circle to the right of the word Filter.
Press on it, to turn it on. Red, means it is on.

And that's it dudes.
-------------------------------------

Now hold any key between the C2 to C3 range, or keys slightly above C3.
And there you have, a slow arpy 80's type bass sound. :)

I hope you enjoyed this tut.
Stay tuned for more, in the next few days. :)

Don't forget to check out the Table of Contents on page 1. ;)

Interesting sound. I remember making a sound similar to that sometime late last year.
Besides that, I think I have a similar bass lead sound, in one of my Synth 1 preset banks.
I'll go and search for it as soon as possible.

Concerning that bass sound you posted earlier, I made something close to it and I'm almost finished working on it.
I just have to get it to sound, a bit more camel llama sounding. :P
I'll post the tut soon. :)

Oh boy. I was now going to try and make that bass sound, you linked in the vid above, and unfortunately
the audio in the vid, has been muted by Youtube, based on copyright infringement. :P
If you could find another vid, with that same sound, I'll be happy to listen to it. :)

In the case of the D Prez camel bass sound, I'm almost done making it.
It will be posted in a few days. So look out for it.
