Hello friends. To use ASIO4ALL in LMMS. Download the following file and rename it to libportaudio-2.dll (first make a copy of this, just in case)

Moderator note:
The link has been removed after the site was altered !
Personally, i would not trust the site at the moment, and you should not sign up -imo!

If anyone else know a secure source, let us know.
LMMS cant upload a copy, because of rights infringement issues

A 32 bit version can be found in this thread
http://lmms.io/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3365

mB.

Now restart LMMS and you're done. In the options you can choose audio and ASIO4ALL

Thanks to David from PLOGUE

Update link.

Greetings.

just a hands up. in case lmms crashes with active asio, you will hit the blue-screen-of-death, and all other work on your pc will be lost. So boot lmms up as only running proggie, and be prepared for some coffemaking time just in case..

This is btw no recomendation of the linked file -i have no knowledge nor have i used it

Thanks, this worked for me using my ASUS XONAR audio card in win7 64bit with LMMS 64bit. In LMMS, Asio backend shows up, and device selection shows my Xonar DX ASIO (64).

Thank you !
Dylan

MusikBear removed it because he did not trust the link. If you have not found a solution, this video might help.

Has anyone had a chance to try out the PortAudioSharp DLL? https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/issues/186 ... t-79510559

It's open source and doesn't use proprietary code, which means we could legally distribute it with our binaries some day.

I followed the instructions, downloaded Asio4all from http://www.asio4all.com/ changed the name and replaced the dll in the LMMS program folder. Upon trying to open LMMS, I then received the error message: "The procedure entry point Pa_GetDefaultInputDevice could not be located in the dynamic link library libportaudio-2.dll." There were two dll files with my asio download and I tried them both (just in case), without success. I'm using Windows 7, 64 bit, and my LMMS is 64 bit (I believe), version 1.1.3. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? :/
