Problem Connecting Korg Volca

Hi again guys,

I got the new Volca Keys for Christmas ( ) along with a cheap midi to USB cable. However, I really dont have the foggiest about how to get sounds from my volca to LMMS. Ive googled it a bunch, but all that comes up is Ableton Live guides....an assist would be greatly appreciated!

I don't have any MIDI inputs myself so the wiki is my best advice to you.

I do now LMMS 0.4.15 work bad with MIDI, so if you experience crashes download 0.4.13. Can also get some friend to help you if you don't work it out, they have experience with LMMS and MIDI.

First you have to see is the MIDI problem in LMMS or the MIDI to USB card you have. Try using MIDIOX (http://www.midiox.com/) to test if your keyboard sends MIDI. If it sends MIDI just open up your instrument of choice in LMMS and in the Midi tab select your midi card from the dropdown menu. It should look something like this:

If you cant see your MIDI card in the dropdown menu, try restarting LMMS and closing other programs that are running on your computer. If the problem persists try reinstaling the card driver.
