Noob requesting asssistance

Hello. I'm a noob. I've watched several tutorial videos, and seem to be getting a grasp of this.
I am looking for any useful information to help me put together some metalstep/darkstep style sounds. I have the basic LMMS and need some additional LMMS add-ons, or whatever the appropriate term is. I have much to learn, and any help I can get will be appreciated.
Also, can I add sound samples or entire songs to LMMS?

Add ons? Do you mean Vst plugins?
Here is a list of cool vst plugins, that work well in Lmms.

You can also use soundfonts and audio samples in Lmms too.
