Hai!

Anything that doesn't fit into other topics goes here!
I'm known as Melody Rebel, and I recently got into LMMS completely after Ableton couldn't load my favorite VSTs. Great to meet y'all!

Now, I have some questions about LMMS:
1. For the Piano Roll, how can you get the loop to repeat itself at a specific time?
2. How can you import long drum samples into LMMS?

Thank you for your time!
welcome to the community!
I answer your Qs, but hereafter, please open new questions, for every single Q you may have. That makes it searchable for other users:)
1. For the Piano Roll, how can you get the loop to repeat itself at a specific time?
you like to move the loop-points freely -eg without 'snap'
Activate loop
point to loop-point you like to alter
hold RM and make sure you can move the loop-point to next snap-point
still holding LM -pres ctrl
Now you can freely posistinate the loop-point
2. How can you import long drum samples into LMMS?
You can import midi-drums, but they will not be destictively seperated in different parts. You only get one track, and you should import to song-editor! Not B&B-editor!
You then need either a general-user-SF2 or use the zasfx preset named drums

Here's the wiki- you may like to read as a new user:

Welcome to LMMS.
@musikbear Thank you so much for answering the question!
As for the Wiki, I have the entire manual copied and pasted onto a Google Doc. :)
I have the entire manual copied and pasted onto a Google Doc
as the pdf..?
..ya, but .. mm well you see :yuck: its outdated ..
I know we should get this fixed, but at the moment peeps are updating the wiki, then there will be a new pdf
Current pdf is for the 0.x releases, so the wiki is the newest 'manual', but it is that one you have as a google .doc, then all is well :p
