Aye. Sorry we didn't respond sooner Gps. :P

I just listened to the first link, with the piano rendition, of that child in time tune you like.
It sounds nice.

I might stop with my child in time cover.

The singing part is causing too much problems. That was not unexpected though.
Awww. After reading your explanation, I kinda understand why you decided to give up on the song. Especially when you mentioned, the singing part. That's like the hard part. :P

On the bright side I have a new headset. I might attempt to record my self for some sample.

Like Bass and How low can you go :P or House! , screams like that.

My favourite brand, for me there is no other brand for headphones and headsets.
Maybe one day when I have a job again, on my list is a sennheiser studio headphone.

I am a fan of this brand of course because of the sound, but also that they are almost indestructible.
Also ordered a pair of new earpads. That is usual the first part to go after a year or 3.
Congrats!

Yeah, I've always heard, alot of good things about that headset.
The reviews on it, is like always highly positive.
And it's good for gaming too.

Wow! It's almost $70? That's like $420 here in the tropics. Lol! :D
And in the malls down here, they'll hike the price up, close to $800 bucks! :P

I googled, most sites sell them them for 100 euros or more.

Found one who sold it for 80 :) ( and I knew that one can be trusted)

Wow! If they are selling them for 100 euros, then that brand must be, of really good quality.

It is a good brand. Two years warranty. The one thing Sennheiser usual is not, is cheap.
But its value for you're money.

The brand makes also studio gear. Microphones to record music in studio's.

When I have a job again, a studio headphone from the same brand is on my wish list, for mixing my lmms tracks.

https://en-us.sennheiser.com/studio-headphones

Prices from 69 $ to 319$

Or if you go for what they call the High End:

$2,399.95 :(

Yep.
And for that high price, everyone is expecting super high quality. :D
It would be sad, to spend that amount of money, buying or ordering one
and then it spoils after a few months.
Or, the right or left speaker, stops working and gives away. :P

From my experience with this brand, its very unlikely one speaker will stop after a few months.

I first had a headphone from this brand.

I stepped on the wire while getting up from my chair many times, and by doing so yanked the headphone from my head.
The headphone took this abuse for over 4 years. (Then a mild crackling started to happen but only when you moved the wire)
My last headset has lasted for over 5 years. ( speakers still working but not the mike )

The durability of this brand is one reason why I am a fan of this brand. :)

The Party - Kraze

I ones started an attempt to cover it.

I might have found a solution to a weird problem I had.

Something not sounding right, hi hat vs the kick.

Now the notes in the hi hat track are moved 3/192 to the right. I tried using delay, but that did not seem to work.

Its almost like the hi hat is the echo of the kick. Don't know how to explain it better.
But if I have the kick and hat normally placed in the piano roll it does not sound right.

Anybody any thoughts on this ?

Could it be a compressor on the kick is hiding the hat ? What am I hearing ?

First surprise I had with this track, the piano does not start at 1, but the kick does.
That was easy to do though.

Yes 'whilted' i believe its called. Eventually it will come as an option in lmms, but for now, you need to do it manually in piano-roll

I tried using delay, but that did not seem to work.
You 'could' do it that way, however -You need to only allow the wet signal
Image eg 100% 'W' -to pass, but that would work as a whilt.
What am I hearing ?
..idk :p
Sorry...
I hear a alternate snare enhanced kick, making it more 'sharp'. Just maby a tiny whilt, but record it and study it in audacity

Epic track btw
