Can LMMS do note slides?

Anything that doesn't fit into other topics goes here!
If this is in the wrong forum please feel free to move it.

I don't know if this can be done with an automation track (I haven't tried) but if you want to say have a guitar slide up or down from one note to another note without sounding like your actually picking each note how would I go about achieving something like that?

Thanks.
portamento it is called, and it is a build in feature in zasfx, lb302 and in a lot of vst's
But you can also do that with several native instruments
Here you use the detune-feature in piano-roll

That works fine for 3oc, among all the others, that are not based on vst's (like zasfx)

But if you like to use zasfx, then i recommend my tut on portamento

I was trying it out in the piano roll and was fighting with it for two hours trying to figure out why I couldn't get it to work. It only seems to work with just the pre-existing instruments and not with sound font files which is what I was trying to do that on.

I watched your video on portamento but I'm still confused. I'll have to watch it again later on when I don't have too many distractions going on.
One way to do it is automating the pitch-knob. There is a number (range) beside it, which can go from 1 to 24, and that dictates how much you can slide using the pitch-knob. 100 cents equals one note on a piano roll, and at range 24 you have +-2400 cents to slide with, though realistically you'll be mostly using range 2-4.
This is a foolproof method in that it works with all instrument-plugins, but the downside is that you don't get that visual feedback and note individuality the piano-roll method has.

Edit: Here's a little demonstration (and a shameless self-promotion on the back of it): https://lmms.io/lsp/?action=show&file=3901
You can just skip to the part FMGuitar is played. Is that what you were looking for?
I think that's exactly what I'm looking for. I'm going to test it out with mine to see if I can get it to do what I want.

I like that song you made. I'll check out how to did the drums too since I'm working on my first track with drums and mine don't sound quite right then again I didn't use the beat and bassline editor either. I haven't been able to use that effectively.

Thank you :)
