Sample Information in Saved Projects

Are samples saved in the project or are the wav files loaded every time the project is opened? I recently uploaded a song and the first comment I had gotten was that the commenter didn't have my drumkits. I may have to stick with the samples provided for future projects but I hope I don't have to, because it's so hard to find just the right drum sounds. Though I could make my own and upload them there as well. Might even post it on youtube XD.

the current version (0.4.9) loads samples as refefrences. This is important, because this mean that if your path-structure is changed, lmms wil not be able to play your music.

I hope the next version will actually save the information and not just the references. Also been working on making some plugin synth presets for drum instruments like the snare and clap. Are there any new drum synthesizer plugins planned for future versions?
