The SID synth has a delay when there's a high release

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I don't know if this is normal or if this is a glitch. I know this is an emulator of the Commodore SID chip. I would like to have a high release with SID without it having latency issues as that's very bad for using it with MIDI or having it play in a song with other synths.
Do you have this problem only with SID?

We need more
please post your:
* OS (+service-pack-version)
* lmms version
* hardware specification (ram & soundcard is the most important)
* Latency setting
* lmms sound device chosen
* a demo mmp
OS: windows 10 version 1703 (build 15063.850)
lmms version: currently using beta (1.2.0-rc4) but this issue was also in the stable version (1.1.3). i had the 64 bit ver for both
hardware:
processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-5200U CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.20 GHz
8.00 GB ram
64 bit os, x64 bit processor
sound card: realtek high definition audio
latency: 5.8 ms
lmms sound device:
playback is speakers (realtek high definition audio)
audio interface chosen is SDL (Simple DirectMedia Layer)
midi interface chosen is WinMM MIDI
demo mmp:
don't know how to upload flies so i'll link to an upload in lmms sharing. i ended up finding a fix in the stable version for the problem but it involves prolonging notes which i don't think i should need to do, so i'm still considering it a problem. this is sort of explained in the project notes. https://lmms.io/lsp/?action=show&file=12377

Its very easy. Below the Post button, there are 2 panes 'Options' and 'Upload Attachment. The Upload system accepts MMPZ files :)
