Anything that doesn't fit into other topics goes here!
In the realm of red dot sights for subcompact pistols, the Holosun HS507K-X2 reigns supreme. This tiny titan packs a punch, offering unparalleled performance and features in a package tailor-made for your Shield Plus.

Why the HS507K-X2 for your Shield Plus?
  • Micro footprint, macro capability: The HS507K-X2's incredibly compact size makes it ideal for the Shield Plus's short frame, maintaining a comfortable and balanced carry. Yet, its micro footprint doesn't compromise on performance. The crisp 2 MOA dot reticle, or the switchable 32 MOA circle-dot, provides rapid target acquisition and precise shot placement.
  • Shake Awake™ technology: This innovative feature automatically powers on the sight when it senses movement and turns it off when stationary, maximizing battery life (up to 50,000 hours!) and eliminating the need for constant manual operation.
  • Multi-Reticle System (MRS): Choose between the 2 MOA dot, the 32 MOA circle, or both, depending on your shooting situation and preference. The circle-dot combo is particularly effective for fast acquisition at close range, while the dot shines for precision at longer distances.
  • Solar Cell + Battery Power: The HS507K-X2 utilizes both solar power and a CR2032 battery, ensuring uninterrupted operation even in low-light conditions. The solar cell extends battery life even further, making this sight truly reliable.
  • Durable and Rugged: Constructed from high-quality aluminum, the HS507K-X2 is built to withstand the rigors of everyday carry and training. It's waterproof, shockproof, and fogproof, making it a dependable companion for any adventure.
Is the HS507K-X2 the right red dot for you?

If you're looking for a red dot sight that elevates your Shield Plus to the next level, the HS507K-X2 is a fantastic choice. Its combination of compact size, powerful features, and unwavering reliability makes it a top contender for concealed carry, competition shooting, or simply enjoying the added precision and speed of a red dot.

Additional points to consider:
  • Mounting options: The HS507K-X2 comes with a direct mount for the Shield Plus, eliminating the need for adapter plates. This ensures a clean and secure installation.
  • Sight picture: The lower profile of the HS507K-X2 allows for a more natural co-witness with the Shield Plus's iron sights, making the transition to a red dot seamless.
  • Value: While the HS507K-X2 represents an investment, its feature set, durability, and overall performance justify the cost. It's a worthwhile upgrade that will significantly enhance your Shield Plus experience.
Final verdict:

The Holosun HS507K-X2 is a game-changer for Shield Plus owners. Its micro stature, powerful features, and unwavering reliability make it the ultimate red dot sight for concealed carry, competition shooting, or simply enjoying the benefits of a red dot on your favorite pistol. If you're looking to take your Shield Plus to the next level, the HS507K-X2 is an investment you won't regret.

how to, when playing a sample on the piano roll, make it always play the same tempo, i.e. not go to a lower tempo when playing lower or higher tempo when playing higher note
For that you would ned a special plugin known as a re-sampler
Afaik, there is no free or tested ones
Your alternative is a simple-sampler, but then you will need to create one sample for each key in the sampler. That is done automatically in a re-sampler.
You should be able to use Grace as sampler, and Audacity as the software for building the samples, however i would recommend using a VST-piano instead.
Spitfire-piano is a very fine free plugin, but i actually also like MDA-piano
