Piano Roll Diatonic Scales

Hello,

I know that I am able to enable scale/key markers in the Piano Roll, which is nice, but is there a way to set it so that all the "white keys" could be mapped to a diatonic scale/key of my choosing?

I am wanting to use my computers keyboard as a Diatonic instrument for MIDI input.

The default LMMS setting let you use the diatonic scales 1) the major scale 2) the "natural" minor scale (or aeolian mode).
That is default!

To shift to a different diatonic scale, you 'only' need to shift the base-note,

on all instruments, or you could also shift the main components Master-pitch

It can get very confusing fast!

Yikes, not a very intuitive way to change keys. So what if i wanted to, for instance, set it up so that the "white key" buttons on my keyboard were all set to minor pentatonic or something?

What I am wanting to do is pick a key, pick a scale, and have those notes right in a row for me on my keyboard. Is this possible in LMMS?

No, and afaik, no DAW would do that.
