Hey, I'm new to lmms, but can't get it to work properly. Im trying to use a piano sample, but no matter how long the note, they all stop at the same length. This is however not a problem with for example the ocilater. I want that pure piano sound

Yes! The notes will always stop at the length of the sample
Samples are not suited to be used as instruments, for that we have ll the presets (sidebar myPresets). a few decent piano's are in the zasfx collections, but i recommend you to try MDA-Piano http://mda.smartelectronix.com/synths.htm
It is very small in size, and you can just copy it to your folder. -Eg NO installation! Further its a quite good piano-instrument, so it is a win win
