Just as mentioned, the frequency response depends on the hardware in the D/A converter and audio.
If we want to know what are the lowest and highest
notes we can create, when we open the Piano Roll, depending on the instrument/preset used, we can create notes with from C0 to C8 and higher. Keys A8 and B8 appear to be usable in Piano Roll. That is a range of almost 9 octaves (not counting harmonics).
C0 is about 16.35 Hz
B8 is about 7902 Hz

I've seen at least one
freeware synth able to create a wider range of notes than this, but I'm not sure how useful that extended range would be.
