You are of-topic -But LMMS need coders :p
But.. Coding LMMS is university-graduate level!
LMMS is made in C++
That is a tuff language to learn. Further more LMMS depends on Qt, a layer over C++
Even more difficult
But..
Code is FUN, and you can have a lot of fun with coding, also on levels way below LMMS-needs :)

If i should point you to a language that has some bearings to C++, but is way simpler, it would be C# or JAVA
Good resources
C# : https://stackify.com/learn-c-sharp-tutorials/
JAVA : https://javarevisited.blogspot.com/2018 ... nline.html
C++ http://www.bloodshed.net/dev/doc/index.html

Wow, I feel like once I put my mind to it with all seriousness I could become an expert....Thanks for the links.
Would love to help too, by my coding skills stop at:

10 print "LMMS is great !"
20 goto 10

:P

That's basic programming language.

About the only thing I know about C++ is that is does not have line numbers like basic.

Building new pc and it's not going smooth but soon hope to use the debug part of the appimage file.

Loosing allot of time, I would wanna spent on LMMS. And find out why it probably crashes on my site.

You might wanna look for C++ lectures ?

Just grab a book on C++. When you learn a new term, just search that term in the lmms code to see how it's applied.

Wrong. A beginning book in C++ will take you a long way in the C++ code. I'm living proof of this. You fix and implement what you can stitch together with what coding you know.

A. Install Linux. Either on a dedicated machine or on a virtual machine.
B. Get a github account.
C. Clone the LMMS code.
D. Compile LMMS.
E. Change something in the code, recomplile and see if you manage to break something. Repeat E...

i've done a bit of coding. some python and php and some website stuff. but it started to get pretty complex and pretty fast. and they don't really show you how to do anything pratical with it. so i just kind of gave up. but that's just me.
if someone is serious about coding i would suggest going to an institution with real instructors. like a university. and then go interview for a job for that. and then learn more
and then move to silicon valley, where housing is overpriced. and then your wife finally leaves you. just kidding
Please stop quoting yourself lmmsguy :)
