Are you a syntheholic ?

Anything that doesn't fit into other topics goes here!
Out of curiosity, I am wondering how many synthesizers fans, are here at this forum.
Often why I go to you tube, I get totally get lost in those vids.

Examples:
Lets start with the most ? famous, the moog.

When I read the description, I thought you meant my lust for moar VSTs, but I guess I'm dead wrong..

I Like the Hoover sound, the Theremin and the Yamaha DX7 =U
Well not really wrong. There a lot of vst, which are a software version, of the real thing.

I love how I have the mini moog at my pc. ( as vst )

Looking at vids of modular synthesizers really helped me, to understand all those knobs on the triple oscillator and vst's.
Not a synthesizer, but an analog mixing console. This monster is impressive: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POouLhgfT68
WOW.
That's what we need in lmms. :P

I don’t understand every thing exactly, but it funny how much I do get, because of using the lmms fx mixer.
I was playing around with Google+ just to see the Audacity Team sing praises to "our" mixer. I dunno why but that's what I saw and I think I believe them since I really don't know how to use the mixer properly :PP

Back on track, I wonder which hardware synth would be cooler to play with? The Clavia Nord Lead 3 or the NI Komplete thingy
Well, I have never used a mixer, not software not hardware before.

But he was sending instruments to the master channel, applying in stuff, like in lmms.

He prob had an percussion channel to send to master too though. :P
i wonder if pushing volume knobs up and down are considered "using" xDD :PP :33
its all he does, ;)

Add some effects. Some program on some Mac. :P

Bob, my spirit animal! :D

If you're that into synths, surely you've heard about Tonto? If not, I'm pretty sure you've heard it anyway.

I had a Doepfer A500 modular and I miss it like hell. I've been thinking of building a proper full scale modualar one day but I need to move then to somewhere I can hosue it.
