hisses and pops

what could be the cause of a few hisses and pops in your recording ? i am just using vst instruments. could it be that volume is too high ? other then that the sound quality is amazing.

Difficult,because a lot could be involved, but teh first thing would be, that you have this issue in ('recording') meaning
export -right? Not playback.
So : Export-settings!
Do you oversample?
Is it lossless export?
Is it in all formats?
Thats where you could start

thanks but it seems to have stopped when i reboot my computer.
