Can I use 1.2.2 MMPZ files in the 1.3.0 Alpha?

i have been wondering if i can get the alpha build yet also be able to work on my previous beats, i dont want to lose my music as i have something cooking, but i also want to get the newer features.
Before you make any updates or changes, ensure that you have a backup of all your previous beats and music. This way, if anything goes wrong during the update process, you won't risk losing your valuable work. Yes all older projects loads fine in 1.3-Alpha, but you cant load 1.3-files in previous releases!
Make sure you understand that!
As suggested by judienir : Always make complete backup of ALL userfiles before you make any update of ANY software -That include LMMS
Also only get your 1.3-alpha from our OWN homepage:
https://lmms.io/download
