How to get Wizoo's Virtual Guitarist to work on LMMS?

I been struggling to get a VST called Virtual Guitarist to work on LMMS. It recognizes the vst, it recognizes the presets, but when you click on a preset, nothing loads!

I'm starting to go insane so before that happens, is there anyone smarter than me who can figure this conundrum out?

first of, does VST works in general?
Test:
try MDA-Piano http://mda.smartelectronix.com/synths.htm
It is very small in size, and you can just copy its dll to your VST-folder. Further its a quite good piano-instrument, so it is a win win
Lets know the outcome :)

2) Do you have 1.2.2 installed?

3) LMMS only support VST2. Is that what you have?
