About the Zero Sum Game song. Copyright infringement

Hello Guys!

It turns out that I have a modest youtube channel and recently uploaded a short video (link: https://youtu.be/TLsd1SyKOPc) that contains the CapDan Zero Sum Game song with NO modifications, that is distributed along with LMMS at least since I know LMMS (about 7 or 8 years). The project file can be downloaded freely with an Artistic License 2.0 from the lmms sharing platform on this link: https://lmms.io/lsp/?action=show&file=1565

Today I was notified of a copyright infringement about my short video with the following information:
Video title: 3D Printed Canon lens adapter #Shorts (my short video)
Copyrighted content: My First Music my life
Claimed by: RouteNote
Searching the internet I found out that a person roughly modified the Zero Sum Game song and cut it down to 1 minute, uploaded it to youtube with another name as his creation and uploaded it to apple music, apparently to sell it. The links to these are here below:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YdZqP27jhA (comments deactivated. How convenient, right?)
https://music.apple.com/mu/album/my-fir ... 1560663069

My question here is, whether this is actually legal. Take an artistic licensed song, modify it a bit and badly and then claim copyrights on the original song. In my opinion this is a very shameless action and that is why I'm asking you guys for your opinion and advice.

Thanks for your time and help in advance.
Best regards,
Ch.

As for me, i do not comment on legality. If you got a legal claim on yT against your project, then you better accept it, or they will jail or close your channel.
Why the other release had no claim against it, is impossible and futile to speculate about. yT uses an AI algorithm and the 'other' project was apparently not detected
