Thanks for sharing! As soon as I see free cinematic instrument VST plugins, I download them immediately....

Wooah!
I almost forgot about these guys. :P

I downloaded some of their stuff a few years back, when I was an Lmms newbie. :P
Great stuff. 8-)

I have discovered probably the strangest VST ever. It's called autogun. It has only one synth parameter ("magic dust') something like 4 controls and no oscillator envleopes. Based upon the Ogun synthesis engine, (and apparently inspired by the ZasFX PAD synth), it's entire purpose is to play some 4,294,967,296 different presets. WHAT? And every different download VST starts on a varying preset. The presets I've heard are pretty cool (aside from their sometimes crass descriptions). But the strangest thing? It's offered by Image Line, the makers of FL Studio. For free. \|0_0|/
Find it here: http://www.image-line.com/plugins/Synths/Autogun/

Here where 'scams' in connection to free stuff, are being touched, i need to raise a possible flag over this one:

Zampler RX Free Edition Soft Sampler

It gave me grief, that for a novice pc user, could have meant serious problems.
The shorthand of it is, that the dll will attempt to initiate a hidden net-session. That could range from completely harmless to ransom-ware!
The grief came from blocking the session.
Here the dll took ownership over remoteVST.dll and ruined my lmms installation.
Because the dll was flagged, and posing as remoteVST.dll, i could not install lmms again. I neede to manually remove the posing file, and declare remoteVST.dll as valid and clean.
Then, and not before that, i could reinstall ..
That behaviour is (imo) borderline fraudeous, and i can not recommend anyone to install this sampler

My goodness. You went through all of those annoying problems from that Vst? :(
Thanks for alerting us about it.

While searching for Choir sounds a few days ago, I re-stumbled on this site again.
And it has alot of good free sound fonts.

I was surprised to see choir soundfonts and they sound really good too. :)

The owner of the site, makes good music too. :)
