Voice Synthesizer?

Questions about producing? Ask them here.
Is there any voice synthesizer plugins for LMMS? I haven't been able to find much besides several old posts.
For singing Alter/Ego is the only vaguely useful one I've seen. http://www.plogue.com/products/alterego/ Hours of fun getting it to sound as you want.

Or do you mean vocoders ? Or speech synthesis ? Or Autotune-type thingies ? Just saying "Voice" covers a world of possibilities.

I am looking for something that could create voice in a track that sounds close enough to a human.
As I said Alter/Ego is your best bet. Have you tried it yet ?

There doesn't seem to be a Linux build for it?

You could try UTAU.
It's similar to Vocaloid.
But from what I know, UTAU is a stand alone software and cannot be used inside Lmms, like a Vst.
You can make vocals from it and there are lots of patches for it too.

And from what I've found out, in order to use UTAU on Linux, you'll need to use wine.
But unfortunately, I'm not a Linux pro. :P
Hopefully some Linux users can help here. :D

I found this website, https://web.engr.illinois.edu/~khua5/in ... -on-linux/
I hope it helps you, if you're planning to use UTAU on Linux. :)

Hi, I want to make videos like the ones you posted but I don't know how, I downloaded all the plugins but I don't know how to use them. Can you give me an advice? I have only managed to put the the midi song and replace it with audio file processor in which I place the funny sound but it only serves for very short sounds not for long phrases thanks
