Hiya!!
Hokay! So here's the track I'm currently working on. So far it's still title-less, and is still very much a WIP. I've got until the end of May to finish and submit it for the KVR One Synth Challenge.
All this is right now is the base song progression. I've yet to add in the melody lines, but I do have ideas in that regard. I'll also be adding in a bit more effects, but not over-doing it.
This song is to be my entry into this month's KVR One Synth Challenge. As such, the entire thing is made with the free VSTi VOPM, which emulates the Yamaha YM2151 (available here, and other places :: http://www.geocities.jp/sam_kb/VOPM/ )
I can use some effects, as long as they don't modulate the sound beyond recognizeably coming from VOPM. (No pitchshift, flange, phase, etc .. but reverb, delay, EQ, etc is OK)
Anyhow, I'm looking for critique as to how the progression moves along, as well as how the sounds gel together (or not)
Input much appreciated.
Thanks for listening!!
The Track:
UPDATED 6/1 ... Finished and Submitted !!! Let me know what you think.
