A phase change, is that about the speed of an lfo ?
no, but lfo spd is actually one of the best 'swells' that can be made -unfortunately, not on lmms, yet, because of internal restrictions -soon'ish' to change :D

Its just about me forgetting an 'r' phaseR or phasing. Its a pluging in your ladspa collection, but there are a gazillion+1 of them as vst-effects as well, and most vsts got them build in
Its like a chorus, but with more effect and expression
Really hard to 'word' but try to drop a c*phaserII on an instrument and play with the dials. Dont overdo it, let it be subtle
-Sorry for confusing phase and phaser :|
(lmms cant handle phase (spectrum pos. in env.) in automation either, yet -> crackles)

-----
im stupid - how did i forget Bandwidth -especially in zasfx, thats perhaps the coolest thing to play with, and it really make a difference!

Thank you, learning some more. :)

I should prob read the manual for zynaddsubfx.
I had already started on the manual, but the first part is about wave theory, and not a fun read.

I will also try that c* phaser again. I thought it had to do with the panning of a sound.

That is an interesting effect, that C* phaser. I just tried it.

I know jean michel jarre uses something like that too.
At the start of the vid he talks about phasing. ( And I believe around 4 minutes too. )

Used plugin low filter, in the automation editor, as musikbear suggested.
