I'm experimenting with Space Voice 2. What do you think?

Code: Select all

%abc-2.1

X:1
T:Space
C:bckpkol
M:10/4
L:1/4
K:D#m
d g3 e A5 | d2 e A5 d2 | G e3 d2 d c d2 | e3 d2 d2 e3 | e2 d1 c3 A1 d3
space.mmpz
I'm not sure if 10/4 is correct.
I don't know how to add second voice or accompaniment.
I doubt I should continue that.
Is it worthy?

Code: Select all

M:8/4
L:1/4
K:D#m

Ok, after sleep I understood that it can be fit into 8/4.

I downloaded space2. It sounds nice.

I do not understand the code (a bit like Chinese). What does it represent? Is this a representation of space2.mmpz?
Hello D.Ipsum. Yes it is a representation. Code is explained at abcnotation.com. Kinda strange nobody know about it.
Simply X is index, T is name, C is creator, M is size of beat, L is duration of note, K is key, m in key means major, minor else.
Because the key is D#m, CDEFGAB is D#FGG#A#B#D.
Small letters are violin octave, big are bass octave.
Number means long note, A5 is five times longer than A.
| means end of the beat. Every beat except first have length 8, because of M.
That's not fully correct but that's enough to understand.
There is a program named EasyABC. It also includes abc2midi tool in its program files.
I also wanted to ask how to add second voice, accompaniment and chorus. If any required.

Wow, very interesting, it's all a learning, like Chinese.

I doubt the usefulness of abc notation in the writing phase of a track, i.e. in the creation phase.
Did you first write your sequence with abc notation?

 If it can help, I found something to add several voices :
http://www.lesession.co.uk/abc/abc_exte ... htm#voices
http://abcnotation.com/wiki/abc:standar ... ple_voices

By chorus, do you refer to the chorus effect, or the sequence that usually follows the verse?
For the first case, I do not think there is a code (?).
In the second, perhaps we simply have to copy and paste the sequence of the chorus (?).
I don't know ...

For the time signature (10/4 or 8/4), I don't know. One could be more elegant than the other, but I don't think it influences the result, the reproduction, or the interpretation of the score. I don't know.

Otherwise, I can only encourage to continue, either this sequence, or another one (your sequence sounds well).
