Yop,

Very nice drums line, quite hypnotic. But too much vocals and other noises to lead the dancer to a good transe. I would definitively let more space for the drums and the bass, with some light variations in the drums line: other sounds, or some touch of reverb or delay.

Your tune made me think to this great song from Serge Gainsbourg: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3_fzIVrOR4

Thanks Mo Stitchi :). That's a cool track. I must admit I went too much on the vocals. Will make some adjustments :)

That's a cool track.
It is. It still sounds so actual, and it has been composed in 1968.

Serge Gainsbourg was one of the greatest French song writers. If you want to dive into his world, and even if you don't understand the lyrics, listen to the tracks of this album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3C4AVbqyY8

This track sounds very different from your previous ones. The couple drums and bass works well, my attention is well captured. The brass line could vary a bit. I agree with Mo Stitchi about the voice, when I first listen, I feel there is too much repetition. But well, it's a 100% subjective appreciation.

This really has a good beat to it.
And when I hear the vocals, I get a slight old school funk vibe, from it too. 8-)

Tip: To deal with the so called repetition, make a few variations, of either the beat
or the melody, or both. Then, you can always go back, to the original beat and melody.
That trick works most of the time, if you trying to make a track, sound less repetitive. :D

Hmmm, speaking of funk type music, I wonder what Gps, would think of this track. :D

I like it. The samples remind me of the way hip-hop used to be in it's developmental stages and the beat takes me back to old-skool electro, almost Afrika Bambaataa-like.

Thanks to everyone for the great feedback. Would love to do an all out old skool hip hop track. Even adding in the old style computerised voices :)
