You're welcome!

Nice track!

Some suggestions (just my point of vue) :
- add a bass line,
- add some fills to the drums (in support of the kick),
- particularizes the transitions between each sequence,
- continue the development of the composition,
- ?
Welcome to the forums Lego Stax. :)

It sounds really good. And has a nice cool beat and style to it.
Really nice work so far.
Add in a few more things, and it'll sound even better. :)
Thanks for the pointers! I'll post here again this weekend after I've developed it more.
Here's an updated version of this song: https://soundcloud.com/lego-stax/quiet-evening-1

I did my best to add more sounds and make the bass easier to hear by adding a higher octave. Please tell me what you think. :)
Really better!

The storm at 00m59s is perhaps a bit strong, a little resonant, I feel that a range of frequencies is too boosted (?). I do not know.

As the track ends, it is possible to add a second part.

Good job!
Hi!
I think you take on difficult task! And you must be ambitious!
It is very hard to make jazz on a computer. What is the most important thing in jazz is rhythmic cohesion between musicians - so called - swing. And phrasing - the pulse/metabolism of the band.
But i really like your song, the melody is calming and instruments sound very realistic!

Maybe try to sample some live played fragments?
Do you play on something?

If I can recommend, you may be inspired by producers such as Nujabes and Saint Germaine - they are great in creating this nu jazz mood. Maybe you know them.
