My remix

I used all ZynAddSubFX presets for the synths and Drum Pro for the drums. The original acapella was used, too! I got into contact with the artist and he was nice enough to have sent it to me. Hopefully you all enjoy it. I had fun making it.

Wow, good job! It's cool to have been able to work with the original acapella.
Thanks! I was so excited when he sent it to me. I had so much fun making this remix. I had a field day with the drums... haha.
Sound real clean !!

Congratulations !!
Okay, maybe nothing will beat the original ;).... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0R6WIbx8ysE
I really like the version you based your remix - it's very in the 80's style, vocals are a bit dark wave, synths are also in this convention - but with the modern twist.
Remix a bit lost the whole atmosphere.
I would maybe keep it more in the climate of '80s with more aggressive synths ;)
But generally, production is very clean and neat.
Oooh. This sounds good dude.
And despite the tiny loss of the 80's atmosphere in it, as PPNDP mentioned, you still
managed to do good work with this. :)

Maybe if you want, you could do a remix of this 80's classic.
Sweet dreams are made of this by Eurythmics. :)
About Sweet Dreams, pansonics has made a remix: https://lmms.io/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=26385

I guess he would appreciate your own remix.
Speaking of my Sweet Dreams remix, I'd love to hear what it is you came up with! I remember when I first made it, I had so much trouble getting the sampling of Annie's vocals without getting the rest of the music involved, but I've since figured it out by then. Anywhos, (before I go off on a tangent) I'm sure that a lot more people than just myself or Brandy would enjoy that remix.
Wow! Thanks everyone for the overwhelming support. I actually was going for a more "experimental" feel than the original feel. See, my remixes typically borrow elements from the original, though I usually do a unique drum sequence.

It's just that as I associate pansonics with the 80s, well, I quoted you

It's really a good plan to work from the originals.
