First track just got released!

Share and discuss your LMMS music projects here, and see what people think!
Hey all, I have been using LMMS for quite a while now and I just released my first track! Check it out here: https://youtu.be/NMZJmJcB5SM . Tell me what you think about it. I know it sucks, but everyone has to start somewhere right?
I plan to continue using LMMS and let's see how far it takes me and my overly ambitious dreams!

Oh and by the way, LMMS is awesome!
For a first track, it sounds nice.

Tips:
The clap sound, sounds a bit too dry and ordinary.
Maybe adding some of Lmms' calf reverb to it and tweaking the dials, might make it sound a bit cooler.
If you want, you could probably also add, some calf vintage delay, or an echo effect to it and
tweak the dials to your preference. I suggest the calf vintage delay more though. But it's your choice.

A low volume pad synth sound, in the background might help, make this tune sound a
bit fuller too.

Thank you for your feedback! I will certainly improve in the future with your tips!

I also appreciate that you think this track is nice for a first one.

Thank you again!

Nice first one, optimistic.

As for Happy Day Alert!, I'm not a fan of the final cymbal stroke ;)

Curious to listen to your evolution.
Honestly, its pretty nice for a first track! I grooved pretty hard to the main melody.

However, like brandy said, the claps kind of sound stagnant and dry. Getting some reverb on it can make it sound more cool and give some nice echoey vibes.

At least to me, the kick is nice but a little more punch in the kick can seal the deal (in my opinion). But then, I'm am a sucker for hard hitting kicks. lol

Anyways, this track was nice, it's waaaaaay better than my first track a couple years ago! I can't wait to hear more of your creations :D

Thank you for your feedback. And as for the cymbal stroke, you will not find it in my next track!

Thank you again!
