After a hiatus I've been posting a few tracks to soundcloud recently, and there are a few more to come hopefully soon. An interesting (IMO) feature is that I never use standard 12-tone equal temperament, but instead use xenharmonic/microtuned scales. Nonstandard tunings can give an unusual and exotic flavor to both melodies and harmonies. There are infinite tuning possibilities but all of these ones here happen to be in various equal divisions of the octave.

fyi I just submitted the last one to the BOL5 competition.
Enjoy! (or not... :P )

I like the forms that you propose.
The unusual standard gives the tracks such a distinctive, almost alien sound. It's really interesting.
Microtuning seems like something I'd to like to venture into in the future. It seems quite complicated though.
Anyway, I enjoy the mood of your tracks. They sound great.
Hey thanks! The underlying theory with microtuning can become a bottomless rabbit hole (and really fascinating if you get into it), but really it's not difficult to just set up some scales and make some pretty cool music with just some creative intuition. I started writing a beginner tutorial a few months ago -- one of these days I'll finish it up and post it. No complicated math/theory, just some basic mechanics of how to retune zasf and start making music. It would be fun if more people were doing this - so much to explore...

I'd be interested in that. Just knowing how to set that up in LMMS would be fun.

Wow! These are unusual, yet unique sounding tunes.

panta-chorei - sounds unusual. I've never heard anything like this before.

perezoso - sounds like a sci fi game ost.

pseudopolis - sounds very ghostily haunting.

You really used those synth sounds and instruments creatively.
I will admit, they do sound otherworldly. And I admire your quest for creativity.
