I agree. It does have a cheerful vibe to it. And it's very pleasant to listen too. :)
I like melodies that I hear in this. And the bass melody, goes together well, with the melodies
and other instruments playing alongside it.

Tips: Perhaps adding some reverb on the magic shimmering sounds
heard at the start of the track, might probably make it sound more magical. :D

Okay. All of the sounds in this tune, seem to be mastered together well.
But one thing I noticed, is that I think this track, needs a tiny bit more volume. :)
Thank you. :)

The volume is a small "problem".

I can check again, but vu meter of master channel was already yellow. So I am already close to clipping.

I do not understand fully understand were this "problem" comes from.

Happens in all my newer tracks, and I suspect it has to do with me making the kicks more fat.

Good idea, about reverb on those chimes :)

Yeah, kick and bass sounds, really send the vu meter up by alot. :P

Okay: Two questions.
What effects are you using on the kick? eg. Equalizers etc?
And if you mute the kick sound, do you gain more head room, in the vu meter?
Calf bass enhancer and amplifier on the bass line.

EQ on one kick but I am using two kick ( layered)

Bassline and kick and the parts making my vu meter go up the most.

Ahhh! It makes sense now. Those two plugins, will definitely send the bass levels up.
And interestingly enough, the eq plugin, will send the kick levels up too.

Yep. As you and everyone else know, kick and bass sounds by themselves, tend to send
the levels up. So when you add those plugins to them, they become in most cases, amplified
or multiplied. The hard trick, is to get all of them balanced, to play nice with one another. :P
My two cents:
For a track that's nearly 4 minutes long maybe some variety with the bass-line and melody would be nice. Maybe different instruments as well for the melody.
Also, I kept expecting a snare to hit at any moment. haha
Maybe that would be a nice addition too. It would change the dynamic of the track and add variety.
Thank you :)

Gonna have a look, at a snare.

Maybe a sidechain on the bass to control the dynamics of the kick?
Maybe I should try to site chain again, me previous attempts were not a success :P

I was thinking about it.
