Hey guys! This is my first post in this community. I've been lurking for a while now too. I've had LMMS for 3 years now, using it to make video game music. But now, I've created a song with it.

I do need someone to tell me what genre this track is because I personally do not know myself

Well, the music goes well, the style is current. Regarding genre, I do not know.

I listen to some distortion near the drums (clipping).

But now, how to say, I find that the detuning effects on the voice are horrible. I would recommend reworking the vocal part.

I have little experience on vocals to be honest and I don't really know how to work with them well. Could you please elaborate more on what is wrong with the vocals and point me in the right direction in how to fix it?

I never put vocal in my projects, so my experience is rather nil

I can only say that I felt embarrassed. I find that the detuning effect on the vocal ruin the track.

A suggestion concerning this part, this pre-drop: replace the lyrics of the pre-drop with new lyrics that complete the message you want to deliver, perhaps by keeping a similar number of syllables, Idk.

It sounds nice and I like the natural organic sound, of the foreground vocals.
The background echoing vocals, sound cool too.

But, if you want, you could add Lmms' calf reverb, to the foreground vocals
and play around, with the wet and dry dials.

The decay time dial, is another dial, you could play around with.
But don't raise it up too much, otherwise, you'll get serious resonance in your track.
