This was actually the first time using any program beyond Audacity. What's a VSTI? I kinda went for default settings beyond changing the tempo and time signature.
VST: Virtual
Studio
Technology is an audio plugin format.
Among these plugins, there are
instruments (
VSTi) and
effects (
VSTe).
Specifically, in LMMS, the
VeSTige plugin allows you to open and use VSTi.
VSTe can be opened via the EFFECTS tab of all LMMS instruments (AudioFileProcessore, BitInvader, FreeBoy, etc.) or via the EFFECTS CHAIN associated with the mixer's channels.
Many sites offer free or paid VST.
A good source: www.
vst4free.com
Once you've downloaded a VST, you have to tell LMMS where to find it via Edit > Pathway > VST plugin directory.
