The Unplayable album

Howdy! Long-time-no-see-and-such-what.

I've been pretty busy with work and programming, but here is an album I've been wanting to release for a while.
It's a collection of tracks I created for games, but they were never used. I actually mixed the track ages ago,
but I wasn't sure if I liked it... Recently I shoved it on my phone as something to listen to while I get to work in the
morning and it's grown on me.

I'm hoping to release an audio visual thingy for youtube for it, but until then, the album is on soundcloud:

Probably not everyones cup of tea, but I hope someone else enjoys it :)

First: Interesting!
Good use of samples and good sound.
Very advanced! I mouse picked a bit and it is big and inviting in som parts, almost unbearable in other.
A piece for the very few.

Thanks :D I guess that was sort of what I was going for. Lovely little melodic pieces in between slightly jarring noise and lofi trash. I think I mentioned that after mixing it, I listened to it and thought "Oh god... this is horrible"... a few months later I re-listened and thought "This might be the best thing I've ever done".

Not really sure about it, but it has grown on me :)

Wow! A 41:21 min album? Dude you take the record. :D
It's quite an unusual, cornocopia of tracks. The entire thing, sounds cool and relaxing.

It's for sure a great collection of sounds.
Just like the others, I didn't listen all the way trough, just skipped from song to song, and I can almost tell you have a 8 bit music crush of some kind :D

Even the sounds with more instrumentalization and effects, it mostly sounds well.
From the beat, to most of the effects that you use, it's really great.
I'm not a 8 bit fan, but I enjoyed lots of parts in this.
That transition between 22:20 > 22:30 is probably one of the best parts I could find here.
Keep creating interesting stuff

Thanks :D I wasn't sure about the length, but I think it worked out.
I was also surprised by how relaxing I find it too. Some tracks have bineural beats and there's a lot of play with the stereo mixing, so I find it nice to listen to while I read a book on my way to work.

Thanks for listening! :D I don't mind about not listening all the way through, it's a bit of an odd one :P

I've definitely got a thing for lofi sounds. I abused that poor decimation plugin (I still do), used a few chip tune tricks and used low bitrate waveforms whenever I could get away with them. As you can probably tell, I also like white noise and lofi humming.

I also had a lot of fun with the transitions :D
