Hey, it's been an absurdly long time since I've last posted on this forum, because I moved to Discord and kind of forgot this place existed...

Well, I have improved a ton since then, and I've made over 30 new songs since the last time I posted on here.

So... I guess I'm going to post most of those here now...

I'll post them from oldest to newest. You can definitely hear my skills improving a ton as you get toward the newer tracks.

Gentle DnB track about space: https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/minkowskis-butterfly
Mostly-gentle DnB track with more melody than most of my songs contain: https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/wonder
An intense experimental track, messing with pitch shifting to play with tension and intensity: https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/fez-powered-1
A story track with awesome chords and sound design, with a trippy beat: https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/doublethink
A remix of Unfa's song Waterpump: https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/unfa ... glas-remix
Experimental microtonal track that got 11th place in BoL! https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/revelations
A glitch hop track with a completely new style of sound design coming from me, made in just one hour: https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/technology-fluids
Playing with foley: https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/playing-with-foley
A meme song with some rather impressive dubstep-like sounds: https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/time ... -jazz-club
An experimental track that changes time signature constantly, has a very nice composition: https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/mess ... signatures
Title says it all: https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/chao ... ver-reason
Definitely one of my best, I tried turning distortion into an instrument and it turned out wonderfully: https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/jazzy-bass-cannon
My best composition (not best song, best composition) of all time, though I gave it way too much sub bass on semi-accident: https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/memory-caves
A song in a minor key that somehow turned happy: https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/casual-fridays
Trying to make something melodic: https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/a-short-melodic-song
I got like 20 new VSTis, and started experimenting with them. Most of my songs are mostly ZynAddSubFX, btu this one is not. The main instrument is ZynAddSubFX still though. https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/what ... th-my-life
Is this considered music? https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/atonality-experiment
This is me experimenting with an entirely new type of sound design, called plugin torture. It's where you start with any sound, and put 30+ effects on top to turn it into a completely different sound. It was a success! https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/unde ... ers-within
Me making another song in an hour. This has some really cool self-designed claps and snares, and is a more gentle song. https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/addr ... -challenge
A DnB + Psytrance track clocked at 220 BPM: https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/musi ... ast-enough
Another plugin torture experiment: https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/to-n ... nightmares
A short song with a short story and an interesting composition and arrangement: https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/two- ... phone-band
A semi-generic house track: https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/titl ... -challenge
The weirdest sound design experiment yet. This song sounds very, very strange. https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/sanctuary
Remix of Mayo Stacatto's "Supreme", it's a joke song but it still sounds decent: https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/supreme-remix
For sound design specifically, many have said this is my best song. It's 90% ZynAddSubFX at least. https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/splat
And finally, a happy track turned weird: https://soundcloud.com/douglas-dgi/candy-rain

...obviously don't listen to all of them.
Well, unless you're bored and have a crazy amount of time on your hands.
Feedback on any of these would be fantastic, though keep in mind that many of the songs near the top of that list are very old with mistakes I've already learned from. Thank you! :D

(the art and the way, lol)
I forgot to listen to them, over the August summer holidays.
I'll check them all out this week.
