I am trying to make house track, while taking a break from the The Party cover.

I made something interesting, but it does not really feel like house ? I like the intro though.

What am I doing wrong? The melody ? It does not really make me wanna dance.

I wonder though, did I get it right after 4 min ? Should I just repeat that part, and add a few sweeps and such?

The part after 5.47 min should have been deleted, but I did not wanna re upload, just for that.

I might have found the problem.

My melody had a note breaking the rhythm. Just moving this one note every 4 count, already makes it more house.
( more loop like )

If you want people to listen to your music, it is better to make your own topic
instead of posting your music, into another persons topic.

If you do it that way, you'll get more attention to your tracks.

All three tracks sound really good.
But for real. Were these tracks, really made in lmms?
Or is this a musician promotion advertising thing?

Basically you had no link in your main post.
You should edit the original post and add it there, so people can find it immediatly, without having to read the whole thread.

Good song, but attention to your volumes. It's something I am currently strugling with, to increase the detail of the track, and give it more brightness, you can't have too much happening at the same time, without having to limit some volumes in a way that they don't have an effect on the kick power or on the bass line, unless that was intenctionnal from the start.

Thank you, and I am afraid I need to cut some frequencies.

I am drowning the kick, and that is not intentional. Might have to side chain?
I would also like the bass to stand out more.
