What are some good free VSTs for LMMS.!!

Looking for Synth, Bass, Piano, Electric Guitar, and Acoustic. The options seem overwhelming, and the ones Ive downloaded sound subpar. Also, I dont have an MIDI keyboard. Can I get by just using the piano roll in LMMS to create my melodies. I have a 88 key Casio PX130 electric piano, is there any way I can use this like an MIDI keyboard?

Please say which VSTs you've already tried. I don't want to waste my time recommending a load of things that you've already decided are in your opinion "subpar".

You can enter things via the piano roll and people have created some excellent music that way. But your PX130 already is a MIDI keyboard. It just needs plugging in and setting up to be used with LMMS.
