My first song with LMMS

I was looking for some time for a good music editor. MuseScore was perfect except that it didn't let me use samples (unless I made a soundfont). LMMS is cool. Everything but the MIDI support (which was too quiet and lacked SF3 support) worked very well and was easy to figure out how to do. I also thought a few quality-of-life features could be added (I couldn't find a way to copy multiple tracks at once), but otherwise it was mostly feature-complete compared to other tools.

-A few rules and useful forum instructions
MIDI support (which was too quiet

You can change that yourself. On the MIDI tab of all instruments you can set a new default (63) loudness, and boost the instrument in question

and lacked SF3 support
Yes we do not have that :)
copy multiple tracks at once
Well not tracks, but i suspect you mean Segments(?)

You can copy multiple Segments in new RC7:
* Use the select-tool to mark the Segments
* use short-cut ctrl+c to create a virtual copy
* move play-head to wanted new position
* use short-cut ctrl+v to insert copy

Nice! I especially like that you have a balanced mix, and uses your instruments in creative ways!

Thanks for the tip about MIDI volume, I'll have to remember that.

Good to know that multi-segment copy is coming. I'm on Debian Linux and using its version. I'll have to check out the RC.

It's a very creative sounding tune. Not bad at all. :)
