Hello All,

Finished my first song, three months taken to make it, I would classify it as Hard Techno, 170 BPM, let me know what you think good or bad,

I think it's pretty good and tight - it managed to hold my attention for almost 10 minutes.

A very strong beat.
I wanted it to have many energy points (thats what i call them) where the song changes in a direction that makes your energy renewed.

The real test for a track is to dance to it, and i think this one works well.
I like your idea of energy points ie places where the track invigorates you (not just by means of volume and complexity) but also by, for example, silence.

My latest track has, I think, quite a few energy points:

Listened to track there, From 02:30 on i noticed nice change, and also from 04:03 to the end, very good.

It would fit well for me as a last track of the night, has brought back a memory to me of Homelands festival here in Ireland year 2000, last track played in main arena was this,

Hi,

Thanks for introducing me to the "Future Sound of London", I'd never heard of them before but will certainly be listening to more of their stuff.

Good luck with BOL6

This definitely sounds like hardstyle music. Nice work creating this. 8-)

Tip: Some of the sounds used in this track, need more energy and a bit more power to them.
And some of them, need to sound a bit stronger too.
Don't be afraid, of using some equalizers and effects, on some of those sounds etc. :)

Thanks, i note you have equalizers in bold, i think what i need to learn more is mastering.

Yeah. :D
Volume balancing, equalizers, and many other things etc, are all part of the process
called mastering. :)
