My first production work

Hi people,
Like to share my first production work I had done recently. My goal is to make a good sounding trance track, with fat drums, bass and nice leads, tensions, climaxes, filter automation etc... this 2 are more like a training to my goal, like to hear your opinion.

My first track wich ended up being a boring dance track, not even close to real trance hehe. Using Synth1 for main melody, and lead sound is monstro.

Something better as lead is Dune 3 which is realy wondrefull synth.

The first barrier I encountered is not being able to do a proper kick drum sound, I tried layering, EQ, compression... Not getting results I want.

Any advice is appreciated.
Thank you.
Sounds good to me - 10/10!!!
Thanx man, I appreciate you like it! But lets be honest, this is far from good sound :)
Quality stuff.
The progressions you make are wonderful, It makes me go back for the early days when I've listened to Tiesto.
I am genuinely impressed.
The Hats throw me off a little bit, they seem too clean/dry for me. I would try some reverb over it or EQ, to bend it better with the other sounds..

For your other songs you have on your profile, I can see that you are someone who enjoys music. And if you know "Insomnia" I would bet we are from the same generation. I might be wrong tho.

I also play piano, just like you I have a single "piano" song on my SC, in the middle of so much electronic music, which I also love. Keep producing because I can see you can make a few songs that I will definitely like.

Congratz for the track.
Keep up
Dear Canilho,
Your comment is much appreciated, thank you! I'm born in 1986 :)
I've done some changes to the mix, and polished the hi hats as you sad, will upload it soon. Also working on new stuff. Will check your soundcloud as soon as I catch good internet in port, currently using ships wifi which is slow for streaming.

Thank you guys for good feedback.
Best regards!
