I wasn't consciously aware of this when I was producing this song, but I found myself liking "walking melodies" quite a bit (melodies where all the notes are the same length and the same distance from each other, just different pitches). Turns out a lot of my songs have them. I like the constant "motion" feel they give, like there's few landmarks to hold on to when the melody just goes and goes. The lead in this song is a bunch of quarter notes and (in one part) eighth notes in a line.

What's some unique touches you guys like to add to your music? I'd love to listen to some examples
