Haha, nice! I was actually listening to one of his albums at work yesterday (Savage), and I feel like your track has a very similar style. Excellent work! If you end up posting your Metal cover, I'd love to hear it... Pleasure Principle is one of my favorites!

Pleasure principle is one of my favorites as well. Savage is a really good one too. Right now the cover is super bare bones and I'm on the fence about restarting. Only cause there was a point when experimenting with the synths in which they started to lose the energy I wanted to go for. This is where I was at last time I worked on it back in July. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fZBna ... sp=sharing

Honestly, I think that sounds really good. The synths do kind of get lost in the effects in the beginning there (and a bit again near the end), but when it kicks off at the thirty second mark you've got a lovely groove going. What didn't you like about it?
Nicely done Mike, that's a very cool track.

Lyrics
-------
Dissolve my skin with a word
Hide me 6 feet under forest dirt

I'm not afraid of the dark
Are you afraid of the dark

Do you dance in those old dark places
Living through complete annihilation
Tell me when you have been
The most alive (feels like another life)
Crack a smile, feel a burn,
You've forgotten how to bite
And the grass is always greener
When you can ignore someone else's corpse

Is this how we pay?
Just wishing back the hours in the day

I gotta find a new way to live
Before I dissolve away
but I'm not afraid of the dark
Are you afraid of the da-a-ark
I gotta find a new way to live
Before I dissolve away
but I'm not afraid of the dark
I'm asking are you afraid of the dark

You afraid?
How many albums do you create in 1 year? :)
Haven't made any albums yet :P Just focusing on improving my production skills this year
I asked because you are made so much tracks!

Exactly what you said with the synth getting lost in the effects. They sound too muddy and FX like. Wanna get one distinct sound for a synth then build from there. A less busy sound I think is what I'm trying to say.

Yeah, I get that. It's really easy to get lost in the effects sometimes. Nice thing about the FX chain though is it's really easy to just turn them on and off again to do a quick comparison and see which ones you really need.
