I doubt anyone will disclose their email, just to download a wave-file for listening, and then be 'rewarded' with tons of spam.. If you want feedback, i will recommend you to use Bandcamp, Soundcloud or youTube as host for your file.
Besides that, since you are new in Forum

Hi musikbear!
Thanks so much for your warm welcome and, of course, the absolutely appreciated feedback.
Corrected the first post and here is the link again,
now without pesky mail grabbing.

(Thank you)
Your track has a nice bass. I like the variation @1:30, that is neat.
Techno is a lot about filter variations, and a more than simple 'melody' that only changes in filtering!
In a way you are between techno and trance -Witch is fine, but maybe not what a listener expect in a techno-track.
Listen to a lot of techno tunes and important, learn the structure that is used in ones you like most, then try to incorporate that structure in your own.
Hi musikbear!
Thank you for your feedback. This is most welcome.
I absolutely want it to be between Techno and Trance. A big influence on my music is Neelix, and he also constantly moves between Psytrance, Techno and Trance, which I love. I also really admire Boris Brejcha, and his driving minimalistic, yet not too flat techno-ish sound.

I will follow your advice of analysing the structure of songs I like. Should I also try to recreate other peoples songs as closely as possible (only for learning purposes, of course)? Do you know any other resources on lmms? It seems difficult to find useful tutorials out there, especially when it comes to building a whole project from start to finish...would you recommend looking at similar daw-tutorials, like the multitude of FL ones that are out there to learn the general thought process?

Great! 👍

?
That is always a good idea, but whole projects is a huge task, so select a piece of a song, and try to rebuild that

I made a lengthy tutorial around the technical workflow for a complete project. Structure plays a big part in that tutorial:

Its not 'brand new' .. at all, but the structure, naming, and general workflow, are universal (imho)

Yes! If you abstract from all the neat features that are used by those tutorial, and refrain from feeling frustrated, because lmms cant make a special 'smart-sweep' or has inferior features in other ways, then you can learn a lot from those tutorials, but FLs, Pro-tools, etc are better than lmms, and you will miss being able to do 'sumthing' :p
