Hi guys.

While totally getting frustrated, to a point I wanted to stop making music and using lmms, I decided, to start something new, and let that other track rest for bit.

As the tile states it will be a cover, but the start already sounds very good to me. ZynaddsubFX <3

Can you guys what it is ? :P

The answer Moby - Go.

But were did Moby get that string part from ? What inspired Moby ?

Twin Peaks - Love theme.

:P
good start -Twin peaks - that was worth watching, but the plot goof out.. Guess Lynch kind of lost interest during the popularity boom ..As Trier did with 'Riget'
Bottom line: dont let geniuses direct suspend series :p
Thank you and yes, that´s exactly what it looked like. Like he got bored or something.

Sounds like he got his inspiration from the flute in the Love theme, also that's where he got the strings from.
You have a good starting point, doing Moby's style as a cover.
Yeah I am not sure yet If I want to copy Go 100%, but the part I do want to use, I have.
Twinpeaks theme, written by AngeloBadalamenti.

And its a nice break from that other track. Don't know what went wrong with that track. Feedback on that track was not bad.
But I am not happy with it at all, and trying to fix it got me totally frustrated.

Its something I am doing wrong in general though. Trying to force myself. That not how to make music.

Maybe I should meditate before I start with lmms. :P
Something I like to add. It seems I got my twinpeaks themes mixed up.

Twin peaks laura's theme. The strings like moby but the inbetween part is totally different.

Page 2, drums bar 22 en 26.

What do you guys think, is this just plain 1,2,3,4 or is it not ?
What bothers me, but that might be just a minor graphical glitch, not all notes are equally spaced. :o
After thinking about it, I found the answer.

There are 4 1/4 notes, so it has to be equal spaced. :)
I am very happy I found a midi file.

There is no way for me to hear what is going on percussion wise. Looking at sheet music I found did not help either.
That sheet music is prob from a different version of GO.

I will have to split one midi track into multiple tracks in lmms. Although I do understand why, I do not know how to explain this.
But it has to do with the H like sign in sheet music. Its for drums and each line does not stand for a note, but for a different percussion instrument.
