Hi all.
I have made a new track, and visualization on youTube
Critique and comments most welcome
I like the vid. I do wonder though how it would look if the colors were more transparent, so that you always see the stars in the background.
Not sure about the planet, I think the colors work great on that part.

The track, I like that too. The strings sounds very jean michel jarre to me, and to be clear, I love Jean Michel Jarre. ( oxygen, equinox and magnetic fields)

I love that arpeggio ? that comes in around 1 minute, but do wonder if it should change or drop at 3.12 and then return when the hihats ? come in.

Just a thought, feel free to completely ignore me. :)
Wow!
Now this is a really good unusual sounding track. O.O
It really does, sound like a mix between old school and newschool trance.
And as Gps said earlier, Jarre.
It does have a Jarre and Skaven Bejewelled feel and sound to it too.
That deep synth part, after 1:01 secs was bada$$. 8-)
(Sorry for the language there dudes. :P)
I Love 1:43 secs, with the ambient pads thingy. Nice pads. :)
I like how it took off after 4:07 secs.
Nice music after 5:52 secs.

All in all, nice track musikbear.
nice track, it really does have the old school vibe

loved the sound around 4:00
Thanks a lot, especially for the constructive critique !

That is a good idea - different transparencies should be possible

I will try that, Thanks!

Thanks Brandy :) Thanks DestinyMoonX
First I hear well known instrument for me then I hear amazing bass. Did you do that with standard instruments and effects? Or it was some VST plugin?
I think I like the half of the track, after some part it drives another way, not as I expected it. But I always like to learn about standard instruments and effects so thanks for the track.

I made a tutorial on how i make that bass:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_SQdvCzhhU
It also explain how customized delays can be created -Well thats really part of how to get that bass, but you can do a lot with custom delays

And to get more sound and depth out of default presets generally:

Thanks, I've never experimented with chorus on bass. Actually I did many things including chorus and even same effects(c*eq) as on your video but I did it only for ambient-like textures. I use zynaddsubfx for my projects but would like to try other instruments. Maybe I just have never seriously tried to create trance tracks.

You mean delay, right?
Delays are also very efficient in arpeggios, btw

a good thread could be

If you feel you need to know about trance from the ground and up.
I mean that I've never tried to add some effects to standard bass except reverberation, although I created bass instruments in zynaddsubfx. Thanks for the link. I will check it when I decide to create another trance track from scratch.
